The "Spirit of Gaudi" limited edition is inspired by La Pedrera, a building by Gaudi, one of the most famous Modernist architects in the world. 2002 marks the 150th anniversary of the birth of Gaudi. Pelikan has created a fountain pen in the architectural style of this famous Barcelona building as homage to its style and to its author, Gaudi. It has been developed and designed in Barcelona for later production in Germany. The solid 925-sterling-silver of the fountain pen forms a sculptural grille like that doorways of la Pedrera. The clip is made of solid nickel silver and the nib is 18-carat gold, hand-certified and totally rhodium plated. The worldwide edition is limited to just 1.000 pieces.
